Core Linear Motor(KP Series):

The Mover composed of coils and core plate, moves along the series of magnets.

Features: The attraction force between motor and magnet is exist. The motor gives much force with condense magnetic flux along the core. The cogging force is exist on the edge of magnet.

Application Area: normally for position feedback such as pick and place, water ject and assembly and transportation machine. 

Coreless Linear Motor(KU Series): 

The mover without core moves between apposite polarity of magnets. No more cogging

Features: Motor can move with smooth motion.

Application Area: Normally for velocity feedback such as Laser cutting, dispenser or applicable for high resolution and precision machine.

Motor selection software is designed by KLT to select the KLT linear motors for specific application. Design engineers can select the motors according to given load and maximum velocity and acceleration. This software simulates heating temperature and loading factor(%) under same load and duty cycle.
